This is a delightful and thinking way to trout fish and as a sport can be taken to any degree of skill level. Fly fishing for trout in Tasmania is a challenge that can be made easy with the right trout guide, good tuition, great flies and a little effort by any angler wishing to unlock the mystery of fly fishing.
Our tours are all inclusive of all gear, boat, waders, wet weather clothes, lunch, tea, coffee, bottled water, snacks and the Tasmanian trout fishing license. All you need to bring is your own personal items, hat, sunscreen, polaroid glasses and warm layers if it gets cold.
RANGE OF TOURS
As a professional trout fishing guide and instructor I offer a range of "Learn to fly fish" tours that are designed for both the complete novice angler or to improve on your existing fly fishing skills to the point where you can go fly fishing on your own with confidence and catch trout.
ONE DAY TOUR
A typical day would consist of an early pick up at your accommodation in Hobart by your trout guide, plus travel then 1 to 2 hours of initial tuition, followed by a fun day of fishing, learning, catching and losing fish plus generally having a ball with a fly rod and lots of trout. All you need is the desire to learn and a good sense of humor. We do the rest. Fly fishing tuition tours are available from Hobart or from the Highlands 7 days a week.
