Trout fishing Tasmania this season has had its ups and downs but Woods Lake is still the standout water.
This Lake has produced the best fishing we have seen for some time and continues to produce great fish.
WE are still finding the best Dun hateched here at Woods and it will continue for some weeks yet.

The Western lakes have also been great throughout the last months however some waters are being targeted
by too many anglers and it is necessary to look further off the road waters to fing better fishing.

Great Lake has also had some sensational fishing with all the bright synny days we have had since Xmas.

King William is producing large numbers of small fish for those who consider numbers important.

Ther gumbeetle season is now here  and these will produce some standour fishing over the next few months.

Grasshoppers are the feature of river fishing on all Tasmanian rivers for the next month or so.
